JERUSALEM MARATHON 2023

The International Jerusalem Marathon is one of the most interesting annual events in the city. This event attracts thousands of locals and tourists who come to watch professional and amateur athletes from all over the world run. The route of the marathon, which runs through the streets of Jerusalem, filled with history, against the background of the magnificent landscapes of the city, makes it truly one of the most unique marathons in the world.

The Jerusalem Marathon is held annually in March. The first official race took place in 2011 at the initiative of the mayor of the city.

The Jerusalem Marathon takes place in early spring, when conditions in Jerusalem are ideal for outdoor sports. During the difficult race along the route passing through the many cultural attractions of the city, marathon participants will be able to enjoy stunning views.

EVENTS ON THE DAY OF THE MARATHON

ALONG THE ROUTE

On the day of the marathon – March 20 – a real holiday awaits all participants, local residents and guests. Spectators will have the opportunity to take part in a number of smaller events along the entire marathon route, sports activities and performances. One of the stations will allow runners to engrave their personal sporting achievements on custom-made medals.

IN THE PARK “GAN SAKER”

The Jerusalem Marathon invites everyone to a sports fair and festival. Runners and spectators will be able to participate in sports activities, which will be conducted by the best fitness trainers in the country: stretching exercises, aerobics, Zumba and much more.
